Westfield - (So) John Orchard-Hayes, (Sr) Brett Sposa, (Sr) Tyler Hutchens, (Jr) Brandon Berling, (Sr) Jake Carey

Centreville - With the return of a few experienced wrestlers, Centreville should be much improved and finish higher than last year.

Chantilly - Graduation hit Chantilly pretty hard, but still return a few region placers. They should still be competitive, but may not have the season they had last year.

Fairfax - Fairfax is always competitve, and solid dualmeet team. It should be the same this year, especially with the return of a few solid region placers.

Herndon - Herndon lost all their region placers to graduation, it appears to be a major rebuilding year for them.

Oakton - Oakton always has 1 stud in the lineup. Who will it be this year?

Robinson - Robinson is always at the top of the list year in and year out. They will be young, but should have several solid performers.

Westfield - Westfield lost a few of the top kids in the region to graduation, but always has a good group that can step up. They will be in the hunt for a region title.

Langley - Langley returns all but 1 placer from last years region championship team. They should contend for another region title this season.

Madison - The Warhawks lost a few key wrestlers, but return a couple of tough light weights. The loss of John King due to moving from the area, will hurt. It will be a rebuilding year for Madison.

Marshall - Marshall lost a few kids to graduation, but should be able to pick up the slack with a few more seasoned wrestlers.

McLean - The Highlanders lost a few solid upper weights, but should have 1 or 2 high region placers.

South Lakes - Will be in the same boat as last year, but could get a solid performance out of their HWT by year's end.

Stone Bridge - Should not be much different from last years team. Will have 1 or 2 kids who could make some noise at the region tournament.

Thomas Jefferson - Returns much of the same from last years team. Could have two state entrants and 1 placer.

W.T. Woodson - Lost a few key individuals. Will be a rebuilding process for the Cavaliers.

JEB Stuart - Will not see much improvement from last years sqaud.

Loudoun Valley - Not sure who is and is not returning for the Vikings, but they should produce a solid team as they have the last few years. They should be the team to beat in the National District.

Mount Vernon - Should have 1 maybe 2 state entrants. Not returning much as far as a dual team.

Wakefield - The loss they had to graduation will hurt them at the region tournament.

Washington & Lee - Should see the same performance from a year ago.

West Potomac - (Sr) Jeremy Devalle

West Springfield - (Sr) Dan McCluskey

Annandale - The Atoms return a couple of wrestlers who could make the trip to Virginia Beach. Always a respectable dual meet team.

Hayfield - Should be the favorite in the Patriot District. Lost a few key wrestlers, but always bounce back and are in the hunt for a Regional Championship. Expect them to be tough.

Lake Braddock - With the new addition, the Bruins are a much bigger threat to challenge for the top few spots in the region.

Lee - The Lancers lost team leader due to graduation. They will be rebuilding.

South County - In their 3rd year as a school, South County will begin to make a much bigger impact on the region. They are moving up and will sneak well into the top ten.

T.C. Williams - They lost their key athletes due to graduation, but they always have a few tough kids pull through at the end. We'll wait and see.

West Potomac - One or two good performances at the region tournament should move them up a few notches from last year.

West Springfield - The Spartans lost a couple of key wrestlers, should be in the process of rebuilding.
